Are There Small Version of Dogs Like Labrador Retriever, German Shepard?

I love Labrador Retriever, Golden Retriever, German Shepherd. But they are too large for my house.
Not too small, not too large. Are there small version of them?

I don’t know of any miniatures of those breeds, but Mini Australian Shepherds are gaining popularity and you may be able to find one in your area.
They are great cause they are small/medium dogs but they tend to be calmer and quieter than your average small dog.

A Chinook or a Canaan dog might be good for you, if you don’t want a very small dog. Maybe a beagle?

You should look at the local shelters for a mix breed. You can find Labs, Goldens and German Shepherds that are mixed with a smaller dog and look very much like the breed except they are smaller. You can find a wonderful dog that way and save a life, too!
*Don’t fall for any scam that advertises a mini version of the above breeds.

A Border Collie is not a retriever but is a shepherd. It is much smaller than a German Shepherd and is extremely intelligent and beautiful! Out of all dog breeds they are known to learn the most vocabulary or commands.
They come in many different color variations not just black and white.
We own a border collie/ German shepherd mix and she is wonderful (but the size of a border collie)
    About 45lb.
    Good luck.

No actually they all have good standard size.and if you want the shaped but smaller in size you should go for a mixed breed.Checkout the data base and find one according to your choice.

Short answer is no. There are many smaller breeds and I suggest you look on the Kennel Club website where you can find a full description of all breeds or why not go along to your local Rescue Centre and find a dog that suits your home and lifestyle.
