What's the going rate for male champion yellow Labrador?
What would be the going rate for my male champ bloodline yellow labrador to mate for a female. Please give me an idea of how much they should pay me, and also what the process usually consists of. Ill pick best answer. Thanks.
Stud fees vary widely depending on the quality of the dog as well as the quality of the dogs pedigree (with emphasis on having multiple generations of peripheral relatives tested for the common diseases of the breed in addition to a minimal 70% champion pedigree).
Usual fee- price of a puppy or a puppy.
If your dog is NOT a champion himself, doesn't have all of his health checks (OFA hips/elbows, CERF, heart and thyroid clearances) no breeder of quality Labs would be interested in using him.

It is usually the price of a puppy or pick of the litter.

and no reputable breeders would pay any money for stud service from your dog.
Show your dog or work your dog, make it a champion and then find a breeder.

Unless he has won shows then you couldn't pay other breeders to let their bitches breed with your dog. Has he been vet checked for genetic diseases and defects? Does he have any flaws or disqualifying traits?

ask a breed mentor. It will depend on your dog's health scores as well as how many CH titles HE has won himself.
